[one_half]

Vivi i colori – Live in colour

January 26th – February 12th

Here’s another edition of the Carnival of Venice which will leave visitors astounded.
The Carnival will transform and colour the city for three weeks, with masks, dances, music, traditional Venetian frittelle – typical sweet treats of the Carnival season – and many, many colours.
This traditional Venetian event, liberating and pleasure-loving, returns with a rich programme, available on the official

website http://www.carnevale.venezia.it/?slang=en.

The Carnival of Venice 2013 edition is dedicated to colour, and the numerous and colourful masks will remind us of the power and the joy enclosed in its every nuance.

We at Villa Gasparini have decided to dedicate our offer for this coming up Carnival to the same theme: colours. The offer is tailored to fit all of our guests’ needs.

Il mercatino dell'antiquariato di Dolo

[one_half]
On the 4th Sunday of each month (apart from July and August)

Dolo is a lovely town of the Rivera del Brenta, just 15 km far from Venice and Padua.

Every 4th Sunday its most ancient and suggestive neighbourhood hosts the Antique Market (which just on rare occasions is held in the new part of the town).

[/one_half]

[one_half_last]

The market stalls are located in the area between the ancient XVIth century windmill, now converted into a trendy bar where you can sip a drink at night and enjoy the view of its perfectly preserved gears, and the famous XVIth century “squero”, where boats where built in the past.

You can take a walk along the Brenta river and do some shopping at the same time as the market offers a huge selection of antiques, vintage items and collectibles: the perfect place for both dealers and bargain hunters.
