On the 4th Sunday of each month (apart from July and August)
Dolo is a lovely town of the Rivera del Brenta, just 15 km far from Venice and Padua.
Every 4th Sunday its most ancient and suggestive neighbourhood hosts the Antique Market (which just on rare occasions is held in the new part of the town).
The market stalls are located in the area between the ancient XVIth century windmill, now converted into a trendy bar where you can sip a drink at night and enjoy the view of its perfectly preserved gears, and the famous XVIth century “squero”, where boats where built in the past.
You can take a walk along the Brenta river and do some shopping at the same time as the market offers a huge selection of antiques, vintage items and collectibles: the perfect place for both dealers and bargain hunters.
