Venezia – Chioggia e la Laguna Meridionale

[one_half]

The Riviera del Brenta is the perfect base for visiting Venice and its surroundings, with its several opportunities.
After a night spent at Villa Gasparini you can easily get to the Terminal Fusina. The river will guide you for 8 kilometres up to the car park: thanks to a special agreement, you’ll only pay 4 Euros for the whole day.
After driving for some minutes, you’ll be ready to leave from the Terminal Fusina to the southern Venetian lagoon : the colour of the sea looks like the sky, full of little stars, the smaller islands, with their small surface but of infinite beauty.
The first stop of this tour will be the Lido with its salty scent, the most famous beach of Venice, once a popular destination for celebrities.

The tour continues towards S. Pietro in Volta and Portosecco, charming small towns on the island of Pellestrina, whose colourful houses help fishermen find their way to home. There are lots of well known restaurants on the little island of Pellestrina, where the air smells of fish everywhere.
