Extraordinary experience to live along the Brenta river that connects Padua with the Venetian lagoon.

Morning
9:30 am pick up at the hotel and transfer to the Bicipark in Padua, a meeting place with the guide and bicycle delivery.
Departure at 10:00 towards the center of Padua and then go up the Piovego river up to Porta Portello.
Continuing, you pass alongside the old ramparts of the medieval walls where you can still see the presence of the splendor of the Serenissima after the conquest of Padua by the Venetians.
The itinerary along the Riviera del Brenta from Padua to Venice continues along the embankment of the Piovego canal until it reaches Noventa Padovana.
It passes alongside the majestic Villa Giovanelli with a beautiful staircase and entrance in Palladian style.
Towards the south we then reach the “vincian gates” of Stra where the waters of the Piovego flow into the Brenta river.
Cross the lock where the Naviglio del Brenta starts, the ancient Medoacus Maior, or the natural and sinuous branch of the Brenta that flows into the lagoon.
The Naviglio Brenta is still the ancient navigable stretch of the river with its moorings for the various boats that stop near the villas of the Doges and the lords of the Serenissima Venetian Republic.
The itinerary will allow us to admire some of these ancient period residences along the low traffic road on the right bank of the river.
We will stop to visit the Villa Pisani in Stra, a national monument, where Napoleon Bonaparte and King Vittorio Emanuele stayed, and its historic park with a wonderful boxwood labyrinth inside.
Continuation towards the second part of the route, this time following an itinerary from Stra to Dolo in the countryside.
Arrival in Dolo with a stop for lunch in a typical Venetian “bacaro” and a taste of “cicchetti”.
Dolo, taken up several times by famous painters such as Canaletto, still has an active water mill and the squero where boats and burchielli were kept and stored.

Afternoon
Continue along the beautiful cycle route through the towns of Mira and Oriago.
There are numerous villas to admire: villa Badoer and Tito, villa Valier, villa Widmann and the Barchessa Valmarana, with the possibility of visiting for the latter.
A stop will be made to admire the exteriors of the majestic Villa Foscari, called “La Malcontenta”, built by Palladio and considered one of the most famous villas on the Brenta Riviera.
